Do you know about the things I could do?
I’d make a bridge and walk over to you.
Cardboard planes don’t work for us
So I guess I’ll walk, thank you very much
Across the bridge I make.
Maybe I’ll run. I don’t want to be too late
To touch your face, to see you smile.
I’ve been waiting a long, long while.
But if God were to send me a hurricane
I’d topple over and break my bones.
Why don’t we say I meet you half way?
That way I’ll still be warm when I go cold
Knowing you were coming for me.
